Rentals Floater

Invacare is a proud supplier of mobility and medical equipment such as manual and powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters, beds and mattresses, patient lifters, ramps, and other products. Our equipment is used in facilities and around the home to make people's Life's Experiences Possible.

We are now seeking an experienced cleaner to join our Rentals team, helping to service our very busy, Auckland DHB contract. This floater position is a varied role that will move between various tasks in our Rentals team, providing support where it is most needed each day. You’ll join a small, close-knit group who work collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure our equipment is cleaned, ready to be redistributed to our customers.

In addition to cleaning our equipment, you will also:

- Wrap and package equipment to be returned to the goods area and shelving
- Operate automated washers and other equipment
- Ensure we have an adequate supply of cleaning products and PPE
- Identify issues with products that need to be serviced
- Tag items with serial numbers
- Be prepared to help with picking and packing, quality control and basic technician duties

- Are physically fit and can lift heavy items
- Are willing to get the required vaccinations to keep you safe
- Don’t mind getting stuck in to get the work done
- Have an energetic and positive attitude with good communication skills
- Enjoy working in a team as well as alone
- Are reliable and pride yourself on doing a great job, every time
- If you have a forklift licence, this would be awesome, but we are also willing to put someone through the training
