**ROLE SUMMARY**:
- We require an experienced secondary classroom teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student’s individual needs. The successful applicant will have strength in teaching Hums/Socials Sciences (geography and/ or psychology strength desirable), be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Teach Humanities, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
- Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
- Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
- Participate in wider school activities.
- Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:

- NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
- Experience in Teaching Humanities and Social Sciences in a secondary school curriculum to a high standard.
- Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
- Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
