**The opportunity**
This is a wonderful opportunity to work alongside Aotearoa's growers and exporters in the Horticulture and Forestry sectors and support them as they take their products to market.
This North Island based Senior Assessor opportunity is a pivotal role in partnering with our customers, to provide integrated assurance services by delivering to domestic and international requirements. In this role you will work with a variety of customers in the Horticulture and Forestry sectors, delivering a wide range of services, to provide confidence to consumers and export markets across NZ and the world.
You will also:
- Maintain awareness of customer requirements and implement practices to increase customer satisfaction
- Ensure delivery of services against agreed specification and/or Service Level Agreement.
This role would suit someone with strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also be provided with training that gives you knowledge and a good understanding of the various programme requirements.
**About you**
Ideally you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in a Horticulture or Forestry related discipline is highly desirable
- Industry knowledge and previous experience of forestry, agriculture, orchards, packhouses or produce growing is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability with technology, specifically tablets and laptops
- A strong health and safety focus
- A full, clean New Zealand drivers' licence
You will be joining a supportive and dedicated team of specialists who provide national coverage of key services to producers, processors, and exporters within the Primary Industries.
**_Note:_** This role is works Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. Some flexibility is required as there is national travel involved.
