Boiler Operator

**The Opportunity**:
**We are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator who will mainly be responsible for providing operational services for two utility industrial boilers providing steam to a process factory. Limited maintenance services will be required to maintain boiler equipment.**

**What you'll do**:

- **Support and manage the quality control function within operations**
- ** Perform frequent inspection checks and regular maintenance on boiler systems and related valves, gauges, piping, and other equipment**
- ** inspect consumables, making adjustments, to keep systems operating at peak levels.**
- ** Record daily steam readings and other tests results**
- ** Ensure utilities operate to optimum safety, reliability, availability, cost, efficiency and product quality at all times.**
- ** Participate in ash collection and disposal**
- ** Carry out hands-on preventative and reactive maintenance**

**What you'll need**:

- **Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering/services operation experience**
- ** Former experience with boiler services**
- ** Experience working as a Plant Operator, Maintenance Technician/Engineer or Fitter**
- ** Forklift Licence and Chemical Handling certification an advantage**
- ** Experience with factory utilities**
- ** Full NZ Class 1 Driver Licence essential although Class 2 will be an advantage**
