**What our client can offer**:
Craigmore Sustainables manages farm, horticulture and forestry investments in a variety of locations around New Zealand. An established business they are growing fast and to support this are modernising and transforming a number of business and IT systems and processes across the business. Based in their modern and well appointed Christchurch head office, this is a Monday to Friday full time (40 hours per week) permanent role. With a collaborative and welcoming environment you will join a welcoming team who are well led and are fully engaged in delivering. Applicants may be required to travel to properties/sites around the country from time to time. The salary range is $80000 - $90000 per annum.

**What you will do**:
Reporting to the IST Manager, the purpose of the IST Systems Analyst is to support and facilitate business improvements in any/all of Craigmore business functions. The role will support the growth of Craigmore by driving efficiencies, providing quality analysis, and implementing IST improvements. The IST Systems Analyst will champion system and framework enhancements by conducting effective system reviews, successfully collaborating, and communicating with stakeholders and troubleshooting technical challenges.

Specific duties will include:

- Using appropriate facilitation and interview techniques to understand business needs, opportunities, problems to be solved, and potential benefits.
- Leading and facilitating ‘desired state’ process and system design workshops.
- Producing ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ requirements documentation and process maps
- Estimating the change investment required to transition from ‘as is’ to ‘to be’.
- Drafting business cases, outlining costs, benefits, key milestones.
- Leading and facilitating solution evaluation, selection, and implementation.
- Supporting and facilitating testing to ensure requirements are met, and systems operate reliably and effectively.
- Proactively championing the use of Business Applications, to maximise their utilisation, and deliver business improvements and become the Super User of Business Applications (as required).
- Ensuring user access and security of Business Applications are maintained, in line with security policies.
- Being the key conduit between users and Business Application Support partners.
- Lead and coordinate changes to Business Applications, including upgrades, configuration changes and fault fixes.
- Assisting with Business Application configuration and integration, design, implementation, and maintenance.
- Facilitating training, developing training material, guidelines, and manuals, and conducting workshops for users to understand and utilise systems successfully.

**Skills and experience we are looking for**:
To be considered for this role you will hold an undergraduate degree in information systems or business analysis and/or the equivalent of 5-7 years experience, ideally with an agriculture based company. Applications are invited from intermediate level Analysts who can demonstrate the following:

- Experience with business/systems analysis practices and methodologies such as customer journey and impact mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder analysis.
- Experience working in a shared services function with multiple lines of business to support.
- The ability to act as a business partner to aid Leadership Teams and on ground operational workers in decision making.
- The ability to train and develop operational workers in systems and processes.
- The ability to build relationships to gain trust to ensure the acceptance of change.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, confidence, initiative, reliability.
- A willingness to be office based to be close to the business, users and the team.
