Our Butchery Team provide a superb offering and are really good at what they do. We are at the stage where we want to expand this offering and create an exceptional buying experience for our customers by providing new and innovative products. We need a qualified Butcher with great people skills and experience in management (2IC or above), SAP and most importantly Leadership to come and lead the team to maximise sales and achieve budget targets.

**The Role**:

- Enhance the reputation of the business by promoting and encouraging ‘best practice’ standards in product quality, range and customer service and managing the team in all operational aspects.
- Maintain ‘best practice’ standards in Food Safety, Health & Safety, fair trading, and ensure 100% compliance with instore policies and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all operational and stock control standards are fully implemented and targets are met or exceeded.
- Use your creative flair to wow customers with new products not currently sold in store.
- The role also includes the usual butchery back and front of house tasks.

**What are we looking for**:

- Qualified butcher with previous management experience at a minimum 2IC level
- Reliable, honest and be a good team player with good attention to detail
- Good understanding of the SAP system
- Confidence and maturity to work unassisted at times
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
