As a Kitchen Hand you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting chefs with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Cleaning kitchen, food preparation areas and sculleries.
- Cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants
- Transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment
- Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparing salads etc.
- Packing food and beverage trays for serving
- Cooking, toasting and heating simple food items
**Skills and Qualifications**
NZ Register Level 1 qualification, or complulsory secondary education (ANZSCO skill level 5)
**Working Hours**:
Full time 32 hours
