Motor Mechanic

We are Atmiya Auto Center, Located in Avondale, Auckland. We are currently on expansion mode.We will be providing work for minimum 32Hrs/week and Maximum 45Hrs/week between Monday to Saturday. We are busy workshop looking for motor mechanics/ Automotive technicians with the following qualities:
MOTOR MECHANIC.
1. Experienced in finding and diagnosing Engine, Transmission and Other mechanical parts.
2. Remove and refitting of mechanical parts such as, Engine, Steering, Transmission, Suspension system as per manufacturer recommendation and market standards.
3. Performing periodic and scheduled maintenance and services like lube changes, Vehicle overall tune-ups to make it road worthy and safe in a professional manner.
4. Performing minor modifications, adjustments and testing for the appropriate performance within the limits of pollution regulations and limits.
5.Should be able to carry out the repairs as per WOF (Warrant of Fitness) and
COF (Certificate of Fitness) required.
6. Have to perform engine and transmission (Automatic and Manual) assembly and disassembly, finding fault and Repair with the help of computer and
scanner.
7.High energy, passion, and a can-do attitude, have to perform customer service if asked.
8.The ability to get the job done in a timely manner and Appropriate communication skills.
9.Attention to detail, may have to work on various locations in future/Will have to migrate if asked.

11.Be time diligent and reliable, Will have to advise customers on service and have to do customer service in the front office.
12.Keep a tidy work environment.
13. WOF certificate is beneficiary but not compulsory.
14. Either Trade certificate Level 3 in motor mechanic/ Automotive Technician, Mechanical Technician, Mechanical engineering OR minimum 6-12s of experience as motor mechanic/technician Or Mechanical industrial experience can substitute qualification. (Trade Certificate can be from onshore -national or overseas - International).
15. Experience or apprenticeship in manufacturing or assembling line or designing and automation background will be highly considered.
16.Higher education in Automotive engineering with minimum 3 years of experience will be given preferences
17. Experienced working with hybrid vehicles and having experience from the dealership will be beneficiary.
18.Person have to pass the drug test and medical test if asked. Having to do auto detailing work is asked in busy time.
19.Person have to have OR should have legal license to drive a vehicle in NZ independently.
20. Higher Education with asked experience, multiple language knowledge will be given priority.
