Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is spread across a vast geographical area and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatāne. We serve a population of approximately 259,000 for the major population centres of Tauranga, Katikati, Te Puke, Whakatāne, Kawerau and Ōpōtiki. Te Whatu Ora Hauora a Toi Bay of Plenty is one of the Bay of Plenty's largest employers with over 4000 staff.

**He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role**

We have two opportunities available for permanent full-time Dental/Oral Health therapists to join the team based in Whakatāne.

Our patient group in the Eastern Bay are mostly 0 to 13 years of age, however some 13-to-18-year-olds are seen by the service in remote locations in remote locations where the service is delivered.

You will work as a member of a team. We are committed to Māori Health equity and increasing Māori Pasifika participation in our workforce.

- Have current registration with Dental Council of New Zealand and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to culturally safe practices
- Participate and comply with health and safety in the workplace
- Hold a minimum of a restricted drivers license
