- Trades & ServicesWe are looking for a **Truck Mechanic** to join a locally owned, heavy transport repair group based across the South Island of New Zealand. This role has come up due to business growth so if you are looking to get your foot in the door with a company who will value you, invest in you and provide a great working space then this is the opportunity for you

As a **Truck Mechanic** you will play a key part in the service, maintenance and repair to a wide range of heavy trucks and trailers. The workshop is well equipped, tidy and a modern place to work. You will be expected to hit the ground running, with an ability to use diagnostic scan tools to fault find and diagnose, attend breakdowns and work both autonomously and within a supportive team.
- Trade Certification within heavy transport/equipment
- Proven experience in a heavy transport environment
- Experience on DAF or Nissan trucks would be beneficial
- Heavy Transport Licences would be ideal
- Excellent computer diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
