We currently have a part time or full time vacancy at the Child Development Centre, it is a 5 day/week service with hours between 8am - 4.30pm

**Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service**

This role requires a collaborative approach working in a multi-disciplinary team environment, with medical, allied health and Kaitiaki staff within Child Development Centre. It also involves working/liaising with education and community disability support services to provide supports available for children and their whanau/family pre and post diagnosis for children and young people age 0-16 years with physical and or developmental disabilities.

Knowledge or experience of working with vulnerable children and their family/whanau would be preferable given the many social complexities that are often experienced by someone with a disability.

This role would involve using skills to support working in a variety of settings, both in the community and clinic.

- to be registered with the Social Work Registration Board
- a current practicing certificate
- a current full drivers licence
- previous experience working with children
- to be self-motivated, able to work independently, have a commitment to bi-cultural practice, enjoy working with people from a diverse range of ages, backgrounds and cultures
- to be a team player and will have experience working in multidisciplinary environments
- to enjoy the challenges of being part of a professional, dedicated team committed to the delivery of high quality health and disability services to children
- to be flexible and able to work across the various areas of Social Work within the organisation
