**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated team member to join us as a **Production Supervisor **in **Rangiora, NZ. **This is a busy role in a dynamic and fast paced environment. The primary function of this role is to ensure smooth production scheduling and oversees all production activities. Maintain quality standards, Supervise the production team, and ensure safety protocols are followed. Other areas of responsibility include assisting the Area Production Manager and providing factory floor support where needed.

Your days will be busy and varied, and will include:

- Shop Floor Support - saw cutting, bending, picking/packing
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Induct new team members
- Guide employees on how to achieve an optimal output or workflow
- Manage the production schedule to ensure it reflects the work plan
- Make sure processes are being used and sign off correctly.
- Evaluates the condition of production equipment
- Quality assurance Implements cost-saving strategies and techniques
- Other duties as requested by management.

**About You**:

- Background in the Steel Trade
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent coaching and communication skills
- Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports
- Broad knowledge of production planning processes
