We are looking for an AWESOME Swim School Instructor to join our team working week day mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings.

Do you have what it takes to become an awesome Instructor for Tauranga Swim School?

Tauranga Swim School was founded by Andrea Sinden in 2011 who has 30 years experience in this industry and is very passionate about teaching swimming and water safety skills to all ages and abilities. We have now been successfully teaching this proven curriculum for 12 years, and we have a reputation in Tauranga, for delivering quality, fun, interactive, lessons.
We are now recruiting Swimming Instructors who are patient, kind and caring, with a willingness to deliver an outstanding programme to our families.
As a Learn to Swim Instructor you will be teaching preschool, school aged children and adults the basics of swimming and water safety. You do not need to be an Olympic champion swimmer yourself; however, you do need to have a passion for ensuring that our swimmers are becoming capable, safe and confident in the water.

We offer on the job FULL training to all our instructors, however, to be successful in this role you will need to:

- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deliver/teach a curriculum
- Have great organisational skills
- Exceptional work ethic
- Current first aid certificate would be an advantage but not essential
- Being committed to the shifts you accept during the school term
- Hold a Driver’s license
- Essential that you have a love of the water and enjoy interacting with people.

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ working visa.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
