Women's Health at MidCentral has gone through exciting changes in the last five years. Among the achievements in the last years are significant decreases in Caesarean Section rates and the establishment of an efficient one-stop-shop post-menopausal bleeding clinic.

We have recently successfully appointed following a retirement and are now looking for a specialist to join our obstetrics and gynaecology service in a full time capacity (1FTE) to take up newly established FTE. This role will suit either a newly qualified or an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a range of generalist skills. The ideal applicant will also have a special interest in obstetrics and obstetric ultrasound. If you have an interest in research there are great possibilities at MidCentral DHB.

**To be eligible for this position you must either be registered (or eligible) with the Medical Council of New Zealand and have a specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology that is recognised by the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as suitable for Vocational Registration in New Zealand.**
