Supervisor Fish

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily operations, ensuring the maintenance of displays, equipment, and technical systems.
- Maintain optimal water quality for the health and clarity of aquatic environments.
- Prepare and administer food according to prescribed protocols, including supplements as directed by the Aquarium Vet.
- Undertake weekend Duty Supervisor duties for animal department operations on a rotational basis.
- Collaborate with Aquarium vets and address out-of-hours animal care concerns.
- Maintain records, update SOPs, and ensure staff are trained accordingly.
- Participate in daily diving activities for animal care and exhibit maintenance
- Certificate or Diploma in Aquatic Sciences, Biology, or related field.
- Diving certification to a minimum of rescue level.
- Ability to maintain medical clearance for occupational diving
- Leadership/Management training.
- Experience working with freshwater and marine fish, invertebrates, and reptiles in human care.
- Proficient understanding of water quality parameters.
- Previous experience in staff leadership.
- Strong customer service orientation.

This is a full time opportunity working 40 hours per week, on a rostered basis.
