Based at our Auckland Design Centre as the Indirect Procurement Manager you will be an experienced leader, with a ruthless focus on driving high performance delivery and value with our suppliers.

You will have a strong commercial acumen and a sharp analytical mind. Tasked with extracting the best possible value from our significant global spend, this diverse role will incorporate category strategy and planning across our Indirect Categories, as well as Supplier Relationship Management and leadership of cross-functional stakeholder groups.

Lead the Global Category Team for Indirect Goods and Services, with the purpose of delivering best value supplier solutions, matched to our business requirements. Provide a clear vision to the broader business whilst delivering on the strategic goals for Fisher & Paykel Appliances.

This position will be responsible for developing and deploying the Indirect Procurement strategy and execution framework, supporting cost reduction, cost avoidances, cost management, spend analysis, supplier performance and compliance. Managing all procurement disciplines of sourcing, supplier selections and approval, contract negotiations and supplier relationship management. Key stakeholders: Product Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales Markets, Legal, External Suppliers

Direct people leadership experience. 2-3 direct reports. In the vicinity of 10 years’ experience in a global procurement leadership role.

A tertiary qualification in a relevant business discipline preferred but not essential.
