Who are we looking for?

Due to Fulton Hogan’s ongoing growth within the Region, we are looking for a Spray Operator to join our team and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.

The job

This is a hands-on role working with our Open Spaces Management team. On a typical day, you'll be operating a weed spraying buggy through the picturesque urban streets of Manawatu, as well as spraying the roadsides along our state highway network. This allows you to enjoy the stunning scenery while enhancing the appearance of roadside drains, safety rails, and signage. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team that appreciates your contributions and values your input.

You will take part in pre-start meetings, comply with our standards and security of all plant including monitoring plant maintenance. And of course, you will also ensure the safety of yourself, your team and the public no matter how big or small the job.

What do we need you to have?
- Full Class 1 licence is essential, although class 2 is a bonus
- Chemical handling experience
- Growsafe certificate is preferred but no essential
- Experience in using a commercial mover, line trimmer and weed sprayers
- Ideally 2 years’ experience within a similar environment
- Good level of physical fitness
