**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- You will be working in a client faced environment, alongside a small team of our consultants in delivering transformational projects for enterprise clients. You will join a high-performing, remote-first engineering team that empowers organisations to excel in industries by providing expertise, guidance and a passion for technology.
- Collaborate with client Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts and Engineers.
- Act as an exemplar of code and development workflow standards to be used by others.
- Lead and mentor a junior team of developers.
- Collaborate, own and review technical design proposals and proof of concepts.

**CORE COMPETENCIES**

We hire technologists with broad knowledge and experience; however, you must be a developer at heart.
- 3+ years of experience in an enterprise environment using **React, Angular, **or similar **frontend TypeScript** **and **JavaScript frameworks**.
- Developed against **modern relational **databases and **non-relational** databases.
- Demonstrated ability leading a small team and mentoring engineers.
- Experienced with **building user interfaces**, but are also comfortable diving into the full stack and modifying backend services.
- Experience with **BDD automated testing** and **deployment tools** including **Selenium, Cucumber and Jenkins or similar.**:

- Comfortable **setting up code standards and reusable pattern**s for others to follow.

**DESIRABLE COMPETENCIES**
- Experience building server side **APIs using OpenAPI** specifications.
- Experience with **cloud native technologies on AWS, GCP or Azure.**

**PREREQUISITES**
- Be a **New Zealand citizen**, who has resided in New Zealand for at least the last 5 years, or have a minimum of **5 years of New Zealand permanent residency**.
- Be able to achieve **New Zealand Government Department security clearance**.
- Be **COVID-19 vaccinated**, be willing to retain this status through boost vaccinations, and be willing to share this information to be kept on file, by **SECTION6** (confidential information).
