ABI Community Services is seeking a Speech-Language Therapist with a minimum of 2 years' working experience. Previous experience in neurological rehabilitation is preferred but not required.

This is a community-based role that entails providing therapy to adults and some children who have suffered an injury and/or traumatic brain injury. The role will be a mix of clinic and home visit appointment traveling within the Auckland.

You would be working in a supportive team environment alongside speech language therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, dietitians, social workers, registered nurses and rehabilitation coaches. You would be able to work closely with the team, as well as take initiative to work autonomously. The successful applicant will:

- have a Bachelor of Speech Language Therapy (or equivalent),
- have a minimum of 2 years' work experience,
- be registered with New Zealand Speech-language Therapists' Association (NZSTA) with a current practicing certificate, and
- have a full, clean driver's license

ABI would be interested in hearing from applicants with the desired skills interested in working either full-time, part-time or on a contract basis.

ABI Rehabilitation is a specialist provider of adult and pediatric neuro-rehabilitation services. We also deliver services on the Concussion and Vocational Rehabilitation contracts. We have attained accreditation with the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International - an international gold standard for person-centered, quality rehabilitation. We are a leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation and an accredited provider of post-acute, residential, and community-based rehabilitation for clients with multi-trauma, concussion, and traumatic brain injury.
