Do you want to join an innovative team who support and deliver clinical education, workforce and practice development for nurses and midwives at Te Whatu Ora Waikato? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for an Administrator to join us in the Professional Development Unit. Our vision is "Leading Education for Quality Care" and our mission is the advancement of nursing and midwifery practice, facilitated through workforce development and clinical education initiatives. The purpose of this role is to provide an accurate, efficient, effective and high quality customer focussed administrative support service for the Professional Development Unit. The portfolio this role holds includes support for our New Graduate Programmes. We coordinate and deliver locally three national nursing new graduate education programmes for new entrants into the nursing workforce.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:
*
marketing of programmes and administrative support for recruitment related activities

*
maintaining web based pages and databases for Professional Development Unit

*
preparing course documentation and resources, such as sign-in sheets, feedback surveys and reports

*
updating education records and achievement in our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and rostering system

*

*
organising venues and contributing to room set-up

*
recording meeting minutes

*
general administrative support for the Professional Development Unit leadership team

Mōu | About you
*
a collaborative and agile approach to team work

*
at least 2 years experience in office and administrative support roles in complex organisations such as healthcare or education

*
outstanding customer service, with both internal and external customers

*
proven competency in computer skills - intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office use

*
the ability to handle and/or prioritise multiple tasks

It would be an advantage if you can also demonstrate that you have:
*
a qualification in administration or business management

*
experience with using a Human Resource Information System, such as PeopleSoft, web page authoring or Learning Management System (e.g. Moodle)
