**_The Opportunity;_**

We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Team Leader to join Ritchies, at our Head Office in Swanson. This role reports into our Group Financial Controller.

This roles prime function is to lead the Accounts Payable team to achieve KPIs, targets and role expectations to meet on-going needs of the business. You will ensure the delivery of fully completed and accurate financial information as required within agreed timeframes. You will also make sure DFA policies are adhered to and enforced.

This is an great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a large organisation with supportive leadership, and in a period of growth and assist with financial process improvement and implementation.

As this is a newly formed team, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the selection process of our Accounts Payable Officers too

Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

**_ About You;_**

You’ve got experience using ERP daily, and at least five years experience in a transactional leadership role, with your most recent experience being gained in a financial position at a medium to large company.

You pride yourself on your eye for detail and your time management skills. You're organised and methodical, but also able to have a laugh and join a team that likes to have fun whilst getting their job done.

You’re a great team player and can communicate well with an emphasis on coaching, influencing, and business partnering. You take health and safety seriously and are an advocate for it’s importance.

You're able to think on your feet and pivot priorities in line with business needs.

**_ Your Skills;_**
- 5+ years experience in transactional leadership roles
- Great interpersonal skills and communication
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail with a flexible and resilient approach
- Tech savvy
- Interest in public transport
- Health and safety savvy
