**About the role**

Using your manufacturing experience and your attention to detail, you will support the production team by consolidating information and developing training and technical documentation.

You will take the opportunity to learn Rocket Lab's manufacturing process by working closely with the production technical specialists and manufacturing engineers. You will bolster this understanding by becoming familiar with our product technology, methods, and operating procedures through reviewing our systems and current documentation materials.

By developing relationships with your internal customers, you will review, edit, amend documentation through selecting photos and engineering drawings to ultimately deliver procedures and training packages that meet all requirements.

This is a 6-month fixed term contract with the possibility to extend.

**Essential skills**
- Experience developing and implementing process and training documentation
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Computer literate, and comfortable understanding and documenting English to an exact standard
- Require some knowledge of assembly processes and working with hand tools

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Able to read, understand and translate engineering drawings into technical operating procedures
