Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity - Property
Property is an important enabler for our transport projects. We own around 1,400 properties including residential, lifestyle, rural, commercial and forestry. Over 700 of these properties are leased to other parties. These properties are purchased and held for current or future transport projects.
Our Transport Property team actively support the project delivery work of our regional property teams by providing focus, framework, and visibility to the programme activities of property acquisition, management, disposal and survey & legalisation to meet the requirements of the Transport Services business plan and wider agency objectives.

- A property qualification (within the last 6 years) and an interest in pursuing a career in property.
- High attention to detail with good verbal and written communication skills.

- A desire to learn and gain new skills and knowledge in property.
- A pro-active approach.

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector. '
