**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Production Manager you will manage our liquids afternoon shift teams responsible for the manufacturing and packing of our Animal Health products.

Most importantly, putting people first, you will encourage team member development supporting them in ensuring cGMP & HSE compliance, ensuring performance targets are met and excellent standards of service is being delivered to customers. This is a busy dynamic role for someone who is keen to lead change.

Some of the key responsibilities will include improving safety and compliance, building team culture around common goals and behaviours, ensuring the production schedules are met and that all products are manufactured efficiently, to the correct quality, quantity, cost and timeframes.

As you will be dealing with Argenta team members, managers and our clients and suppliers, the ability to build and maintain effective relationships is vital in this role. By nature, you’ll be an energetic, driven person with a desire to continually improve current systems, processes, and the overall customer experience.

**About you**

No two days will be the same, and as we have a unique business model (CDMO) within the Animal Health industry there may be challenges that you’ve not encountered before, however, your resilience, strong commercial acumen and constructive leadership attributes will set you up for success in this key role.

You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience managing large production teams or operational management in an FDA, TGA or MHRA manufacturing environment and knowledge of GMP & MRP.

**We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so to be successful you will have**:

- Proven track record of coaching and developing a team.
- The ability to lead and deliver business improvement projects.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to pick up new packages and processes easily.
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills.
