We are seeking a skilled and experienced** Specialist - English Language Assessment** to join us on a **permanent full time (37.5 hours per week)** basis based at our **Queen Street** Campus.

Some of the key responsibilities will be:

- Design, review, and implement high-quality assessments for multiple English Language Programmes.
- Ensure assessment integrity and validity by creating new versions of assessments each semester.
- Manage pre-moderation, moderation, and post moderation processes for assessments to maintain quality and compliance.
- Develop tests in alignment with NZQA standards.
- Lead professional development sessions for Kaiako, providing guidance on assessment best practices.
- Contribute to the enhancement of assessment related policies and procedures.

**About you**

You will bring with you:

- A bachelor’s degree in education or another related field.
- NZ Certificate in Assessment Practice.
- Full New Zealand driver’s license.
- 5+ years’ experience in the NZ Tertiary Education sector.
- 5+ years teaching experience.
- Proven experience in moderation and assessment.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
