This position provides an excellent opportunity to become a highly skilled supervisor, and to cement a successful future career with one of New Zealand’s largest companies. The position requires a self-motivated individual who display a high level of initiative and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will also have a can do attitude, excellent work ethic, and will be passionate about learning and developing new skills. A positive attitude towards maintaining a safe working environment is essential. You will also need to be proficient with keeping accurate records in Council’s Job Management Tool, Stormport.
- What you’ll be doing_

We currently have a vacancy in our Stormwater Team. Your primary responsibility will be organising and scheduling maintenance of Council’s Stormwater Infrastructure, which will include traffic management, organizing and liaising with sub-contractors and customers for reinstatement works. You will also learn to mentor the field staff and support Council’s project engineers to help deliver “good work” across the Auckland Region.
- What you’ll bring to the table_
- Be an Experienced Supervisor, Qualified Drain Layer or hold a Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
- At least 2 years' experience working in the industry.
- Class 1 Drivers License.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Excellent use of the English language both verbal and written.
- Can do attitude.
- Be self-motivated & driven to succeed.
