Maintenance Fitters

**LeaderBrand** is a locally owned and operated Gisborne company who pride themselves on providing quality fresh produce to their customers. With continued growth and demand of the company, they are looking for **Maintenance Fitters and Electricians** to join their Engineering and Maintenance team to ensure the fresh cut facility and state of the art equipment operates at its peak.

**What will you be doing?**

You will have a lot of variety in your role making sure that no two days are the same. Your tasks will include:

- Completing repairs and servicing of equipment
- Strong Fault diagnosis skills with Pneumatic and PLC driven systems
- Self-Management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking them
- Exposure to TPM, preventive maintenance planning and/or maintenance
- Experience working with Pumps
- gearboxes
- valves and conveying equipment
- Contributing to the plans and layouts of wiring and mechanical systems
- Fabrication of mechanical components
- Installations
- Development and implementation of maintenance plans, just to name a few

It is important that you are committed to continuous improvement and are able to prioritise work and make sure the work you complete contributes to the successful operation of the Salad House.

We are committed to finding the right people for these roles and therefore want to hear what hours you will be looking for. Majority of our key maintenance work needs to take place at night time this means we are ideally looking for people who are interested in night shift work (however day shift is on offer too).
- The ‘normal’ - we typically run a 4 day on 4 day off roster, however this is up for discussion
- Are you looking for a 2 week on 2 week off roster?
- Permanent set night shifts?

- Industrial FMCG experience with maintaining and setting automated machinery
- Trade Certificate in Maintenance Fitting or Trade Qualified Electrician or other similar/relevant qualification
- Demonstrated ability to produce quality and efficient work have an eye for detail and accurate data entry
- Experience working with food safety and compliance
- Commitment to health, safety and wellbeing
- Demonstrates attitudes and behaviours in alignment with LeaderBrands values
- Experience programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining site SCADA/HMI systems
