We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our software team based in Christchurch. Our high performing team develop custom software solutions, such as Specifi for the New Zealand building industry. About the role*
Planning and organising will be one of your strengths, plus an ability to identify and solve problems, as well as provide excellent customer service and technical support.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualified in Information Systems, or similar, with experience developing business software.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and be highly proficient in C# and the.NET framework, ASP.NET MVC, Razor, Ajax, Knockout and JQuery, with a skill for writing reusable C# libraries. Exposure to, or React experience an advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with popular web frameworks such as bootstrap.
- An interest in engineering/mathematics/BIM automation.
- A high level of initiative and exceptional communication skills will also be your strengths.
- Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating with a wide range of people.

Specifi was developed by Kirk Roberts Consulting, as an online structural engineering software, that allows users to design intelligent residential engineering solutions in-house for a wide range of structural elements and foundation needs. Specifi provides its users with a comprehensive suite of industry-leading documentation, and the ability to design engineering solutions instantly, to keep their projects moving forward.
