Stoker / Boiler Operator

As a vital member of our team, youll take on the role of a stoker, responsible for hand-fuelling the fires and operating the engine & boilers that power the TSS Earnslaw.

Worried about not having the right certificates or prior experience' Dont be, we will train you from scratch, and before long you will be getting stuck in anywhere you are needed and be able to assist in all operations of the boat, from decks to dishes.

Some early mornings and occasional flexibility come with the nature of the role. If youre as dependable as you are skilled with a shovel, then youre exactly who were looking for.

**As part of this role you will**:

- Provide fuel for the TSS Earnslaws fireboxes
- Attend to the boilers, engines and auxiliary equipment
- Respond to guest queries regarding the history and the workings of the TSS Earnslaw

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Drivers licence (class 2 preferred)
- Mechanical and Engineering background is an advantage
- Physically fit and hard working
- Proactive and willing to help in other areas
- Motivated and not shy to get stuck in and get the job done
