Fruit Picker/packer

Natural Fresh Food Ltd t/a Dragon's Lair Orchard has been growing and wholesaling dragon fruits on the NZ market for many years. We are based on Bay of Plenty. Our orchard is looking for orchard workers to join our friendly team.

You do not need to be experienced, but you need to be physically fit and willing to learn about fruit growing.

Your working hours will be during daytime, 30hours minimum per week. You need to work on shift hours therefore you will need to work on weekends once a while.

Your duties include
- Infor orchard managers of crop progress
- Set up and operate irrigation equipment
- Operate tractors, machinery and self-propelled machinery
- Clear and maintain orchard vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment
- Clear and maintain irrigation ditches
- Keep record about the crops
- Plant plants
- Repair orchard fences, buildings and other structures
- Harvest fruits
- Pack fruits and load to truck.

we offer houly rate between $22.40 to $30.50 per hour depends on your performance.
