**Children Social Worker position in London, United Kingdom**

3D Recruit is working with Local Authorities based in London in search of Qualified Social Workers from overseas to join their Children's services on a permanent basis.
The salary is between £34,000 - £39,000 and you will benefit from a relocation package of up to £8000
Ideally, you will have the following:
- Experience working with Children and Families
- Experience in undertaking assessments and support plans
- Experience of working with Child Protection and Children in Need plans
Your duties in the team would involve the following:
- **Assessment and Support**: As a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Team, you will conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs and identify areas requiring support. You will work closely with families to develop and implement care plans, providing appropriate interventions and referrals to internal and external services.
- **Child Protection and Safeguarding**: Your role will involve identifying and responding to child protection concerns, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. You will work closely with other professionals, such as police officers, healthcare providers, and schools, to coordinate interventions and protect vulnerable children from harm.
- **Family Support and Empowerment**: You will provide direct support and guidance to families, empowering them to develop their strengths and overcome challenges. You will offer parenting advice, facilitate access to community resources, and promote positive family dynamics, ultimately working towards achieving improved outcomes for children.
- **Advocacy and Partnership Working**:Effective collaboration with local agencies, community organizations, and voluntary sector partners is crucial in the Children's Team. You will establish positive working relationships, engaging in joint initiatives, and promoting integrated services to meet the needs of children and families more effectively.
- **Transition Planning**: You may be involved in supporting young people transitioning into adulthood and leaving care. This involves providing guidance, helping them access education, employment, and housing opportunities, and ensuring that they receive appropriate support services during this critical phase of their lives.
Safeguarding vulnerable children in the UK is paramount to us, so you will possess the relevant experience and knowledge of the process to safeguard vulnerable children within the UK.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
