**Who We Are**
- At AgResearch, our purpose is to use science to enhance the value, productivity, and profitability of New Zealand’s pastoral, agri-food, and agri-technology sector value chains to contribute to economic growth and beneficial environmental and social outcomes for New Zealand. **The Role and Opportunity**
- AgResearch is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students to join us for a Summer Internship program. These are aimed at students who are currently undertaking tertiary study and will run from 20 November 2023 until 9 February 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for you to experience what your professional career at a Crown Research Institute could be like - to gain exposure to the Science community, developing skills, and creating connections that will set you up for a bright career.
- This role is based in Lincoln, Canterbury.

**The Project**.

**Your Ideal Background**Currently studying in a relevant tertiary course - science, economics or agriculture preferable
-Be able to commit to working from Nov ‘23 - Feb ‘24 (excluding our Christmas close-down period)
-A keen attitude and motivation to work in an innovative environment
-Demonstrates safe workplace behaviour by taking all practicable steps to ensure own and other’s safety in the workplace
