**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Our Technical Sales Specialists (internally known as Nutrient Specialists) challenge the status quo, sparking strategic decisions through innovative value propositions. They shape outcomes based on the latest science, understanding the unique role that our farmers hold as the backbone of New Zealand.

As a Technical Sales Specialist you will:

- Know your customers. Understand what makes them tick, what's important, and how we can help them win
- Prioritise and have a passion for growth opportunities
- Develop, implement and drive nutrient strategies and
- Deliver a 5-star customer experience to your customersBe committed to increasing sales within the Whakatane region

**ABOUT YOU**:
You'll be a people person who appreciates the value of relationships based on trust and respect. You'll get a kick out of seeing increased levels of production and profit, and your farmers will love you for it

You will also:

- Understand how important it is to represent the brand by giving our customers an experience they remember
- Are confident in your data analysis, computer and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Are able to connect with and understand farmers
- Determination to help Ballance and our customers achieve their goals.Driven to get new business and grow the Taranaki portfolio
