Stevedoring Shift Manager - New Plymouth

**Entry level management/supervisor role**

**Located on the picturesque Taranaki Port**

The Shift Manager oversees the loading and unloading of ships arriving at the port. This is a demanding but rewarding leadership role and pivotal to our organisation. It will involve leading a dedicated team of skilled individuals in the handling of everything from logs, timber, bulk products and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your team and for managing cargo flow through the effective use of our unique cargo management systems.

Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols.

Conduct regular safety training.

Foster a culture of safety awareness.

Utilize specialized cargo management systems.

Coordinate with ship captains, port authorities, and logistics partners.

Optimize loading and unloading operations.
