**About the role**

Our Financial Advisory Services team is looking to grow. We are on the hunt for someone to provide support to the Restructuring and Insolvency team at the manager level. This role would best suit someone in an Assistant Manager or a Manager role who wants to build on their insolvency knowledge and experience and grow their career. You would be joining our close knit Financial Advisory Services team who work nationally from our Auckland, and Wellington offices. This team is very social and enjoys working collaboratively.

You will be responsible to assist in the day-to-day delivery of a wide range of Restructuring and Insolvency assignments. Such as:

- Undertaking investigative accounting reviews to diagnose issues, understand a company’s financial position and future prospects and advise stakeholders on the options available (this will include the preparation of data books and review/development of financial models)
- Planning insolvency engagements including receiverships, voluntary administrations, and liquidations
- Executing insolvency appointments involving tasks such as trading businesses, sale of business and asset realisation processes, close down and exit strategies, financial investigations and developing and bringing legal claims.
- Supervised engagement and correspondence with a range of stakeholders including employees, IRD, creditors, suppliers and shareholders to review and adjudicate on claims.

**About you**:
**You will have**:

- 3+ years’ experience working on insolvencies and restructures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to critically think and solve problems.
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- A commerce degree together with CA, CPA or CFA qualifications
- Previous exposure to a variety of organisations and industries
- A client focused approach to work.
- The ability to working as a part of a team but also autonomously.
- Full Driver’s License
