**The Company**:
Our client is a New Zealand owned business based in South Auckland. Founded 20 years ago, they are now a well-established business providing a range of agricultural products to their strong customer base.

**The Opportunity**:
Demand within the business as seen the need for their QC laboratory to increase their staff levels. As such we are seeking a Laboratory Analyst to support their ongoing product testing. Reporting to the QC Manager, this role could be filled by senior Analysts or someone with just a couple of years experience. But you must have experience with HPLC, GC and other analytical instrumentation.

Ideally you will have a tertiary chemistry qualification, and/or have hands on experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably one where you have worked to GMP/GLP standards testing raw materials, intermediates and final products manufactured on site. You’ll be able to work independently but as part of a larger team and be used to working with other departments. You’ll need to work to tight deadlines and handle schedule changes if production requires this.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Tertiary qualification in a science field, preferably Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Practical experience working in an analytical laboratory testing to GMP levels
- HPLC, LC-MS, GC or similar instrumentation experience
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Good report writing skills
- Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
- Experience with working with US and European Pharmacopoeias

**Salary/Benefits**:
The company offers an industry competitive salary. The laboratory runs from 6am - 8pm Monday to Friday and so there can be some flexibility in your hours to work in with family commitments etc.
