Ttm Lead

**About the role**:
Working within the Tararua Alliance, a partnership between Tararua District Council and Downer, the TTM Lead will proactively support the Delivery Manager Transport and the wider team to deliver Temporary Traffic Management operational excellence across all Tararua’s network needs.

The TTM Lead is responsible for providing the necessary direction and leadership to the Traffic Management teams’ in Tararua to achieve best practice. This includes compliance of both attended and unattended traffic management sites.

The TTM Lead will ensure all Tararua Alliance employees and supply partners are trained appropriately to carry out their relevant TTM duties which is aligned with COPTTM. The TTM Lead will also proactively stay up to date with all TTM amendments to ensure all Tararua Alliance and supply partners TTM activities are compliant at all times.

**About you**:
You'll bring with you experience in leading teams, be adaptable and open minded to deal with unexpected events and provide direction to your team. You'll couple this with:

- Essential to have suitable level of experience in the Temporary Traffic Management industry
- A proven track record of operational experience with the responsibility and accountability for staff and plant
- The ability to train and develop operational staff
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily chat with your team and external stakeholders
- Commitment to a zero-harm working environment
- Class 1 full New Zealand driver's licence
