Cad Technician

**Ventia **is an established service provider in the Power, Distribution & High Voltage electrical industry. We partner with leading NZ clients providing maintenance, installation, and construction services to a range of substation, industrial & commercial assets.

**This is a full-time, permanent role at minimum 40 hours a week**

**Key Deliverables**

In this role you will be responsible for doing design and construction, transmission, pole design, subdivision asset data entry. You will create SLD drawings for andelect pillars, schematics for switching stations, power stations, modelling of transmission and subdivisions.

You will participate in on-the-job and off-the-job learning, and development activities as required; Communicate and provide feedback on all relevant design-related issues, to team members; Actively participate in learning and development activities to maintain and enhance draughting and/or design skill levels, and share information with or coach others to enhance their learning.

**About you - Required Skills and Competencies**
- Electrical Engineering Qualification - Advantageous
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Microsoft Office Suite - Advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
