**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The Auckland Regional Sexual Health Service is seeking a suitably qualified person (MO or SMO) to join its Adult Sexual Assault Assessment and Treatment Service (SAATS) to undertake the role of Sexual Assault Physician.

The successful applicant is expected to be able to provide forensic and therapeutic sexual assault assessment and treatment services at an expert level in accordance with service guidelines and ADHB Policy. Additional duties include provision of teaching, mentoring and support to other Pohutukawa forensic sexual assault clinicians in the daytime and after-hour’s team (medical and nursing).

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
- Current vocational registration and Annual Practicing Certificate with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- MEDSAC accreditation for adult and/or adolescent forensic examination
- Master’s degree from a New Zealand medical school or an equivalent international qualification
- Experience providing expert testimony to the justice system, including formal statements and court appearances
