Medcall is delighted to be working alongside our client to find them an awesome Nurse Manager for their busy primary healthcare clinic.

Based near Mission Bay/Remuera, this is a clinical service also providing other wrap-around services to the Māori / Pasifika community.

**This is a full time role for an experienced Nurse Leader/ Nurse Manager, **who understands Maori and Pasifika communities, and is passionate about improving their health and wellbeing. Ideally you will also be proficient in Te Reo, although not essential for the right person.

**The role**:

- Lead & mentor your clinical team
- Health Care Assistants, Enrolled Nurses and Registered Nurses.
- Train, induct, mentor and develop your team professionally.
- Ensure quality processes are further developed, adhered to and constantly improved.
- Be part of an amazing multidisciplinary team (Social workers, GP's, the nursing team and practice management).
- Manage and influence growth and development of the service, seeing real gains for the Māori & Pasifika community you serve.

**You will need**:

- NZ Nursing registration & current APC
- Proven leadership / management experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of & clinical nursing experience in NZ's primary healthcare service
- Incredible interpersonal skills, someone who relates well to everyone.
- Passion for what you do, and the ability to take a team with you.
- Excellent documentation, written & verbal communication skills.
- Current Vaccinator's certificate
- Knowledge of Te Reo Maori/Tikanga
