Nelson Residential Care Centre provides aged residential care services for older people from and around Feilding. We pride ourselves on delivering rest home level care in a supportive environment, promoting independence and maintaining connections with family, friends and the community. We currently have a position for a part-time Maintenance/Handy-Person to assist in maintaining the environment in a safe and tidy condition for our Residents and Staff 24 hours per week.

Duties include grounds and lawn maintenance, general building maintenance, machinery, equipment and fixture maintenance; completing Health & Safety activities and associated documentation; liaising with senior management team and external contractors.
- Have an understanding of Health & Safety regulations & requirements

current clean drivers liscence
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have good time management skills and an ability to prioritise
- Be punctual & reliable
- Have a good sense of humour
- Previous experience in gardening or property maintenance is an advantage.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- On call

- Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
