To be part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our New Zealand Steel, Glenbrook-based team who has a significant depth of expertise in EI&C as well as other engineering disciplines. We are a close-knit team who enjoy being part of the office culture, showcasing our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

In this role you will as part of the New Zealand Steel Engineering Services Team, undertaking all types of work, anything and everything from 11kV down, across electrical and control systems for the various Plants around the site. Each day will present a new challenge, but overall, you can expect to:

- Carry projects right through all stages, from site assessment and design to construction.
- Perform job delivery, project justification reports, work planning and financial management, and client relationship management.
- Provide client leadership & technical direction on a range of projects.
- Provide management input and be a leader, mentor and coach to our Electrical team.
- Involvement in setting the business strategy and focus for the team.
- Network, develop and grow relationships with clients and the industrial business.
- Travel to meet with our personnel based in other Beca offices

You are an E, I&C Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving with an enquiring mind and ability to problem solve and think laterally. Through your experience in a similar consultancy or contractor environment, you have developed your skills in delivery and are committed to owning quality client outcomes. How you work is also important to us - we will value and reward your enthusiasm and motivation to continue learning from your peers and more senior team members.
