Join us as a Workshop Foreperson in our Hamilton depot. This role offers diversity, challenge, and an ability to make your mark.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will primarily be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of Bitumen fleet and the efficient operation of our workshop crew. You will be working on projects for internal and external customers in the Waikato Region while complying with all relevant codes of practice and quality requirements. This is a great opportunity to lead a small and mid-size workshop crew in Hamilton.

In addition to the above you will:
- Leadership and guidance to maximise performance to workshop staff.- Ensure daily job records are accurate.- Ensure permits and procedures are implemented and followed.- Organising and ordering of materials, and subcontractors.- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and other key stakeholders.

We’re looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or significant industry experience.- Bitumen related procedures & requirements.- Experience guiding and developing multiple teams.- Reads & understands specifications, CAD drawings, plans & contract documents.- Relevant experience in managing HSE risk associated within workshops, fleet & bitumen.
