The Role
Accent Group is looking for a talented CAD Draftsman who is hungry, humble and smart to join the team in Wellsford, Auckland.
The purpose of the role is to produce professional office furniture CAD drawings to meet client specifications, production needs, and sales team needs.
Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
- Drafting CAD drawings based on client's specifications, as briefed by the Sales Team using Alphacam and Cabinet Vision
- Producing CAD to CAM process for CNC machinery
- Create detailed drawings for sales and purchasing teams as needed.
- Liaise with sales support to produce revisions to drawings until drawings signed off by customer.
- Produce accurate material requirements and provide cutting list to the team as required.
- Provide appropriate reports and assist in technical production information to teams.
- Engage in problem solving to improve outputs for the team
