**The opportunity**
Across our Australia and New Zealand industrial teams we have more than 300 professionals who work in a part of Beca with more than 40 years of experience in complex industrial environments. Our work is across a range of markets including, energy and manufacturing, food & life sciences, minerals & metals and wood & fibre to investigate options, support sustainability, improve processes, and increase productivity. Our clients within these sectors are well recognised local and international brands who are looking to make everyday better for their people, the environment and their products and services.
We are looking for a graduate level Electrical Engineer to join our Tauranga based team. You will be joining a passionate team in a varied role supported by experienced and industry-leading engineers and project managers to accelerate your career and see you thrive.
As an Electrical Engineer each day will be a little different, but you can expect it to look something like this:
- Gaining experience in the disciplines of electrical, controls and instrumentation performing tasks including: design, meeting attendance, job management, construction-related services and site investigations.
- Assisting our wide range of clients to build relationships, learn their processes and provide value added solutions for their business.
- Working on operational sites ranging from short visits to long term assignments as part of regular project work or site based engineering teams. Locations may include multiple areas within urban and regional New Zealand to Australia, New Caledonia and Indonesia.
- Ongoing support from experienced mentors, development opportunities, support towards professional memberships as well as a yearly graduate conference and access to an established and active graduate social community.
**About you**
You will be completing your qualification (or have recently completed) in Electrical Engineering, strong written and verbal communication skills, an enthusiasm for site based work and a willingness to constantly learn and develop.
