**Mō te tūnga | About our Role**:
We are seeking a clinical psychologist to join our team providing expert care to our clients on their health journey.
Based in **Hawkes Bay**, working in a full-time, part-time or contract basis (your choice), you will provide a whole-of-person approach to support clients and their whānau across a mixed caseload including Concussion, Training for Independence and Pain Management services.
You will join a supportive team in a relaxed but professional atmosphere, where you will work with your clients and support their return-to-life.

- Tailored Quality services to their individual needs.
- Assessment, clinical reasoning, interventions and goal setting
- Referral for appropriate follow-up, where there are further mental health concerns
- Utilisation of various psychological techniques to effect improved adjustments.
- Individual, group, and family therapies planning
- Regular monitoring of client progress and report writing
Overnight travel across the region may be required on a very ad hoc basis.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Essential skills/experience for the role**:
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology. For Neuropsychologist successful completion of university based graduate or postgraduate course or papers in Clinical Neuropsychology (transcript required).
- Registration with Psychologists Board New Zealand and valid annual practising certificate with scope of practice for Clinical and or Neuro Psychology.
- Professional Membership with either NZ College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP) or New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPS) or another professional body deemed appropriate by ACC.
- Greater than 2 years’ post-internship experience in some or all of the following areas: neuropsychological screens,
- anxiety, depression, concussion/brain injury, complex mental health, pain management.
- Current full NZ/AU driver licence
**Moū - About you**
- Tech savvy - use of systems databases, Microsoft Office, Smart phone, Dictaphone
- Well-developed written and verbal skills
- Ability to communicate and interact with people across cultures.
