**About the opportunity**:
**Role description**:
**Responsibilities will include**:

- Prepare cost estimates from conception to detailed design as required for project purposes.
- Establish scope/design/work planning documentation, for clients or Project Managers.
- Complete and submit competitive project bids in accordance with tender guidelines.
- Produce a full Bill of Materials for Purchase Ordering requirements.
- Produce a clear project handover document detailing Scope, what has and hasn't been allowed for in the pricing, what items need further design or clarification once the project has commenced, what likely problems could be expected.
- Scope, design, and price Variation work, as necessary.
- Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, clients, and contractors with a focus on strengthening those relationships.

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- 5 years as an Electrical Estimator or relevant role.
- Experience with electrical design and scoping projects.
- Highly effective written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, and diplomacy skills.
- CAD drawing experience is an advantage.
- Confident team player, who is achievement-orientated with excellent organisation skills.
- Commercial risk management and knowledge of 3910 and 3916 construction standards an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical schematics and technical documents.
- Electrical Registration will be an advantage.
