Mitre 10 MEGA Taupo is a dynamic, and growing, locally owned and operated business who has been trusted here for decades.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to join our award winning Garden Centre Team. We need someone that can connect with the customers through great customer service, active listening and excellent product knowledge. Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training - either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right plants, along with all the dry goods and hardware, whether it’s fertilizers and pest control or gardening gloves and a wheel barrow. Ideally you will be experienced with the sale of both green and dry garden goods, although applicants with a proven retail background and who are eager to learn will be considered.

- Excellent organisational skills
- A passion for customer service excellence
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit as there will be manual handling, lifting & ladder use
