The hours and days for this **Longlife Manager **position are **Sunday 1430-0000 and Monday to Thursday 0800-1730
**The ideal applicant needs to have a Forklift Certificate and a Liquor License. Be ARG trained and can operate a checkout.
At Countdown no two days are the same but in this role overseeing all facets of the Longlife department, you could expect to

*** **Motivate, manage and guide the Longlife, Perishables and Nightfill teams**

*** **Train and develop team members in your Department**

*** **Sales planning, rostering, ordering of stock, maintaining merchandise standards and implement promotional planning**

*** **Champion Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors**

*** **Ensure a proactive approach to all compliance requirements, keeping these records up to date and adhered to**

*** **Ensure the store is at peak capacity for daily trading
In our next Longlife Manager we are looking for

*** **Demonstrated knowledge and success in a retail environment**

*** **A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills**

*** **Previous experience with ordering, stocktake, rostering and budgets**

*** **Previous people leadership experience in a retail environment**

*** **The ability to obtain a first aid, general managers and food safety certificate as well as a forklift licence and LQC
