We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator **to join our **Countdown TE AWAMUTU **team

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
- Face to face customer service at checkouts
- Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
- Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
- Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
- Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

**In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that
- Understands good customer service.
- Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
- Work well within our team and communicate effectively
- A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
- A friendly smile and welcoming attitude

The shifts times and days for this opportunity are

**Shift 1: Friday 1500 - 2200 & Sunday 1500 - 1900**
**Shift 2: Saturday 0900 - 1500**
**Shift 3: Saturday 1500 - 1800**
**Shift 4: Monday 1400 - 1700 & Sunday 1400 - 1800
